The event on April 4th is at the Atena Kogyo Arena (アテナ工業アリーナ), also known as the Seki City Gymnasium (関市総合体育館). The closest station is Sekishiyakusho-Mae station (関市役所前) which is on the Nagaragawa Tetsudo line. From there it's about a 10-minute walk. The event begins at 9:00am and finishes at 3:00pm, but you can arrive at any time. Here are the details (times are approximate):
9:00am - open practice for wrestlers
12:00pm - lower division matches, comic sumo performance, drums
1:30pm - upper division ring entrance ceremony and matches
3:00pm - bow-twirling ceremony, end of event
No shoes are allowed in the venue. Bring your own slippers. You can buy them in convenience stores.
Ringside is sitting on the floor and comes with souvenir cushion.
Children 2 years old and younger don't need a ticket if they don't need their own seat, but only on the 2nd floor. Children 5 years old and younger may not sit in Ringside 'S' at all.
Food Sets are available for purchase in advance. You can add them to your cart along with your seat ticket. Food sales on the day of the event will be limited, so we advise buying in advance if you want to eat at the event. Food Set contains a boxed lunch and green tea. These sets do not include a ticket to enter the event.
Ticket prices include our service fee (1,600 yen for entry tickets, 500 yen for Sets) and payment fees (about 3% of ticket price).
