The event on October 18th is at the Green Arena Kobe (グリーンアリーナ神戸). The closest station is Sogoundo-Koen station (総合運動公園) on the Seishin-Yamate subway line. From there it's about a 5-minute walk. For directions by train to the station, please use this useful website:
The event begins at 9:00am and finishes at 3:00pm, but you can arrive at any time. Here are the details (times are approximate):
9:00am - open practice for wrestlers
12:00pm - lower division matches, comic sumo performance, drums
1:30pm - upper division ring entrance ceremony and matches
3:00pm - bow-twirling ceremony, end of event
No shoes are allowed on the 1st floor (Ringside, Box, Arena). Bring your own slippers. You can buy them in convenience stores.
Ringside and Box are sitting on the floor and come with souvenir cushion.
Children 3 years old and younger don't need a ticket if they don't need their own seat, but only on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Children 5 years old and younger may not sit in Ringside 'S' at all.
Food Set contains a boxed lunch, green tea, and program. If you want to eat at the event, we strongly recommend buying a food set. These events often have very limited food, or no food at all, for sale on the day. These sets do not include a ticket to enter the event.
Ticket prices include our service fee (1,600 yen for entry tickets, 500 yen for Sets) and payment fees (about 3% of ticket price).
