Family/Senior Tickets

Information about Family/Senior Tickets:

1. A Family/Senior Ticket (just called “Family Ticket” from here on) is for 4 people. If there is at least 1 child (15 or younger) or 1 senior (60 or older) in the group, you qualify. Groups of all children do not qualify.

2. We will send you a voucher for your Family Ticket. This is not the entrance ticket! The voucher must be exchanged for your tickets between 9:00AM-5:00PM on the day of the event. The exchange is made at a tent-structure to the right of the main box office at the arena. You must have every member of your group present to get the tickets. If you arrive without any children/seniors, they may not give you your tickets.

3. We accept Family Ticket orders for Mondays-Fridays, except the final Friday of the tournament. They have very limited availability and are difficult to get. Please consider which ticket type you’d like if we can’t get one for you, and tell us your alternates when you contact us.

Sumo ticket sales have been getting faster and faster, and now all weekend* dates sell out in 5 minutes or less.  Because of this, more people come to us to pre-order weekend tickets.  Every tournament we get more and more orders for the weekends, but fewer and fewer tickets are available.  We have been very successful, but this trend is not sustainable for much longer.  By increasing the service charge on weekend tickets only, we hope to encourage you to choose a weekday as your first date choice.  We thank you for your understanding, and we regret that it became necessary.

If you have a weekend as first choice, we strongly recommend a weekday as an alternate.  If we have to change your date from a weekend to a weekday, we will refund the 500 yen weekend surcharge.

*National holidays are also considered weekend dates.  Upcoming holidays during Tokyo tournaments are:
